Dr. Irene Hof Laurenceau

Introduction

Dr. Irene Hof studied medicine at the University of Zurich.

During her studies, she chose a paleopathological topic on skeletons from the 13th to the 16th centuries as the subject of her doctoral thesis. This research sparked her interest in the field, and she decided to pursue further training in orthopedic surgery. She specialized at the Balgrist University Hospital in Zurich, the Inselspital (University Hospital of Bern), and the Geneva University Hospitals (HUG). In 2008, she obtained her FMH (Swiss Medical Association) specialization in orthopedic surgery and musculoskeletal trauma.

Since 2007, she has collaborated with Dr. Sadri and joined him in 2016 at the Hirslanden Bois-Cerf Clinic in Lausanne.

After 14 years spent at the Foot Center in Bern and Fribourg with Dr. Strehle, she decided to open her practice at the Agoriaz Center in Gruyère and has also been providing her skills as a consultant at Medicol since 2019.
