Introduction
Dr. Stefano Tripiciano studied medicine at the University of Lausanne, where he obtained his federal medical degree in 2019. He began his specialization in general internal medicine and practiced in various hospitals in French-speaking Switzerland. He completed his first two years as a resident at the Jura Bernois Hospital in St-Imier before continuing his training with two years at the Pourtalès Hospital in Neuchâtel. He then spent six months as a resident physician in the internal medicine department of the CHUV (Lausanne University Hospital). Throughout his career, Dr. Tripiciano completed several rotations in different medical specialties.
Passionate about sports medicine since its inception, Dr. Tripiciano began his in-depth interdisciplinary training in sports and exercise medicine (SEMS) and spent a year as an assistant physician at the CHUV Sports Medicine Centre, in a position shared between adolescent (Centre SportAdo) and adult sports medicine.
In order to further develop his skills in sports medicine, Dr. Tripiciano will join the Ouchy Orthopedic Centre in May 2025.
