Dr. Christina Tsekeri

Introduction

Originally from Athens, Dr. Christina Tsekeri moved to Lyon in 2013 to pursue studies in biology. After a bachelor's degree in physiology and two master's degrees, one in integrative biology and physiology, the other in therapeutic innovations in cancer at Claude Bernard University Lyon 1, she distinguished herself through her commitment to biomedical research, notably at the Ragon Institute in Cambridge.

Admitted to the second year of medical school in 2019, Dr. Christina Tsekeri familiarized herself with various specialties such as neurology, diagnostic radiology, and emergency medicine, but she quickly oriented her training towards surgery, with experience in pediatric orthopedics, visceral surgery, plastic and reconstructive surgery in Lyon and at the University Hospitals of Geneva.
After a rich education in basic sciences, these experiences confirmed his attraction to surgery, combining technical rigor and direct impact on patients.

In May 2025, Dr. Christina Tsekeri joined the Ouchy Orthopedic Center in Lausanne with the aim of perfecting her surgical skills in a demanding environment with recognized specialists.
