We invite you to the Olympic Museum in Lausanne on March 22nd, where our next conference will address two current topics: progress in THR and the treatment of meniscal injuries. Sixty-two years after the first THR and 33 years after the first implantation of a custom-made stem, it is time to take stock of this operation that has changed the lives of millions of patients. Hip replacement has recently entered a new stage of its evolution with the advent of 3D planning for modular prostheses and the trend for short stems.
Meniscal transplants will also be discussed; Dr. Eric Choudja Ouabo will explain the indications and present his surgical technique. In this context, we are pleased to announce the participation of Professor Roger Erivan from Clermont-Ferrand, who manages a human tissue bank whose use in orthopedic surgery is growing considerably, and whose operations he will describe in detail.
As every year, roundtables will be an integral part of the congress, and your questions are welcome! We look forward to seeing many of you at this new annual event.,
