New doctor: Dr. Alexandru Daniel Tiris
Assistant physician in orthopedic surgery and traumatology
We welcome a new doctor to the Ouchy Orthopedic Centre, Dr. Alexandru Daniel Tiris.
In 2017, Dr. Tiris decided to settle in Switzerland and practiced as an assistant physician in orthopedics and traumatology in various hospitals in French-speaking Switzerland. He completed 2 years of training at the Pourtalès Hospital in Neuchâtel where he deepened his knowledge of lower limb surgery as well as spinal surgery.
Dr. Tiris then completed a year and a half of assistantship at the North Vaudois Hospital Establishments (eHnv) at St-Loup Hospital where he was particularly interested in prosthetic and arthroscopic shoulder surgery, then he continued his training at the Broye Intercantonal Hospital (HIB).
Passionate about orthopedics and with the aim of deepening his clinical and surgical skills, Dr Tiris joined Medicol in January 2024, in order to continue his specialization at the Ouchy Orthopedic Center.
