We welcome a new doctor to the Ouchy Orthopedic Centre, Dr. Coraline Zhiti.

Dr. Coraline Zhiti completed her medical studies at the University of Besançon, where she graduated in 2014. She began her hospital career in France, at the Besançon University Hospital, before moving to Switzerland to continue her postgraduate training. She joined the postgraduate training network in Orthopedics and Traumatology and completed her first two years of specialization at the CHUV.

Dr. Coraline Zhiti was appointed Deputy Head of Clinic at HIB Payerne in 2020; before returning to CHUV in 2023 for her final two years of specialization in lower limb surgery within the orthopedics and traumatology department.

At the same time, she completed her training with various specialized courses and obtained the FMH specialist exam in orthopedics and traumatology in November 2024.

With a particular interest in lower limb surgery, she holds the position of clinical head of the ligament knee team and the foot center within the orthopedics and traumatology department of the CHUV.

In May 2025, Dr. Coraline Zhiti joined the Ouchy Orthopedic Centre to pursue her specialization in lower limb surgery through a fellowship with Dr. Jacques Vallotton.
