Assistant Clinical Head in Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology

We are pleased to welcome a new doctor to the Ouchy Orthopedic Centre this fall, Dr. Nabile Himer.

Dr. Nabile Himer studied medicine in France. He then pursued his specialization in orthopedic and trauma surgery in several hospitals in France and Switzerland, notably at the Pourtalès Hospital in Neuchâtel and the Jura Hospital in Delémont.

During his training years, he also had the opportunity to conduct research on the predictive factors of humeral fractures during shoulder prosthesis changes, a retrospective study over 12 years.

In November 2021, Dr. Nabile Himer joined Medicol to pursue his specialization in FMH orthopedic surgery of the musculoskeletal system at the Ouchy Orthopedic Center. Alongside his clinical practice, Dr. Nabile Himer continues his research on scapular prosthesis in shoulder tumors.
