Medicol Congress 2019

This year's Medicol annual congress is dedicated to shoulder pathologies, and in particular to rotator cuff injuries. The shoulder is a complex joint with intricate muscular and ligamentous interactions. The diagnostic and therapeutic approach is therefore delicate and can be approached from different perspectives. To shed light on this, sports medicine physicians, surgeons, radiologists, and shoulder rehabilitation specialists will share their respective approaches in a spirit of consensus. Today, shoulder pain often becomes debilitating when it involves rotator cuff tendon injuries. This topic will be addressed from an epidemiological perspective, followed by a surgical one, with a live surgery demonstration of arthroscopic rotator cuff tendon repair.
