Through a series of videos, our member physicians shed light on certain orthopedic conditions and their treatments. Professor Nicolas Theumann, a specialist in diagnostic and interventional musculoskeletal radiology, discusses vertebroplasty.

Professor Theumann is a specialist physician (FMH) in diagnostic and interventional osteoarticular radiology.

Professor Theumann studied medicine at the University of Lausanne and then specialized in radiology at Cochin Hospital in Paris. He pursued his scientific career in San Diego, USA, before returning to the Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) to head the musculoskeletal radiology unit. In 2009, he became a professor of radiology, and in 2012, he joined the Bois-Cerf Clinic to develop a dedicated musculoskeletal radiology service. For over 20 years, he has been fully committed to the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders, as well as to teaching and research in this field.
